It’s scary…to leave things up to fate. You never know what is going to happen..
You could end up perfectly happy, with him again, happy without him or just completely miserable. But, I knew the risk when I gave him the ultimatum. I needed it. I was starting to pull away from him, the first guy who ever said, “I love you” back to me.
The ultimatum was this, no speaking for each other to two months and if we still felt as closely as we did, then one of us would text the other. I already knew he didn’t plan to text. His reason was something stupid like, “It’s better for you if I just disappeared from your life so you could move on.”
It’s like, if I wanted to move on I would’ve thrown you on your ass already.
I waited there with him for the bus after it was all said and done, after the tears and the hurt was expressed. I just wanted to spend every second I could with him, I'm sure he didn't notice.
He had trust issues. But after what he had gone through, who could blame him?
Allison broke his heart, she used him is more like it. She was older then he was, dirty and cheap as fuck, everyone has had one of those. The first cut is the deepest (Thank you Cat Stevens) and Phil's first cut was deeper then could ever scar over.
Sometimes we’re blinded by love, Eve once wrote a song about love being blind. Phil was blind to this chick, his first brush with love left him broken. Really broken.

Its odd. Looking at that name now, it could either mean one of two things, get back together or move on. It’s scary…But I’ve already said that.
This is the story of the two months that would probably affect my life in the next year, and no, I’m not being dramatic, and I chose a year for a reason.
